A ncient Greek Philosopher Aristotle was born  circa 384 B.C. in Stagira ,Greece. When he turned 17 , he enrolled in Plato's Academy. In 338 , he began tutoring Alexander the Great. In 335,Aristotle founded his own school, the Lyceum,in Athens, where he spent most of the rest of his life studying,teaching,and writing. Aristotle died in 322 B.C, after he left Athens and fled to Chalices.

J abir ibn Hayyan ,one of the most notable islamic chemists. He was a prominent Islamic alchemist,pharmacist, philosopher, astronomer and physicist. He was born in Tus, Khorasan, in Iran, then under the rule of  the Umayyad Caliphate; the date of his birth is disputed. In the Kufa h became a student of of the celebrated Islamic teacher and Imam Ja'far al-Sadq. He began his career practising medicine, under the patronage of the Barmakid vizir of Caliph Haroun al-Rashid. It is known that in 776 he was engaged in alchemy in kufa.
